Phase 1 — Strategy & Analysis
Our Strategy & Analysis team conducts rigorous quantitative and qualitative reviews of client operations, limitations, and goals — frequently including numerous site visits. Field Engineers then validate and augment every assumption with tailored ground-truth data collection from live operating environments — across borders, off the grid, and in austere conditions. These elements are synthesized into your user-specific TORQUE report: a ranked, evidence-based map of your unmitigated exposure and predicted failure modes.
Outcome: you know precisely where, how, and why your communications will fail — before they do.
Phase 2 — Engineering & Design
Using the specific risks and exposures identified in TORQUE, we leverage our network of Subject-Matter Experts to design a holistic, adaptive system — typically an SD-WAN integrated, transport-diverse network with enhanced edge autonomy, paired with procedural elements that optimize how your team acts on what the network tells them. Our primary design focus is Distributed Situational Awareness: issues addressed before they become emergencies.
Outcome: a resilient architecture in which every predicted failure mode has an engineered, tested mitigation.
Phase 3 — Field Response
No operation is perfect — and in the most critical circumstances, what matters most is often the right person in the right place. CAE’s SMEs are available not only for analysis and design, but for rapid response: internationally credentialed personnel trained and experienced in complex emergency response operations, deployable when you need them most.
